The demo covers how company targeting works when a recruiter can't think of every competitor to search against. Typing in a general category, like B2B SaaS companies, prompts the AI to generate a list of relevant names, and prebuilt or custom presets can save specific groups, like YC-backed or publicly funded SaaS companies, for repeated use.

The core idea covered is a two-step search: first defining who to look for through titles, skills, and locations, and second, telling the AI why one candidate is better than another. That second step, built from criteria like target schools, relevant technologies, or prior companies, is what ranks the strongest matches first rather than returning an arbitrarily ordered list like a typical filtered search.

Search results draw from a large database of public profiles as well as any existing ATS or CRM data, surfacing whether a candidate has already applied, been contacted, or received a specific campaign. Each match includes reasoning for why it fits the criteria, along with a personal email address for outreach. Searches run in the background over a period of minutes and continue daily, adding new qualified candidates as they appear rather than delivering a single static list.

A second live example, searching for an environmental health and safety manager in a specific metro area, shows how the same process adapts on the fly: entering title variations, correcting geography, and letting the AI suggest criteria like career progression when no formal job description exists to pull from.
