About this video
A practical, tool-by-tool build shows how to stitch together separate sourcing apps into a single automated pipeline, so a recruiter can go from finding a LinkedIn profile to launching a verified, personalized email campaign without ever leaving the browser.
The workflow uses five free tools chained together with no-code connectors:
- LinkedIn to ContactOut — saving a profile in ContactOut pulls the candidate's contact details directly from a LinkedIn search.
- ContactOut to Google Sheets via Zapier — every saved profile automatically populates a spreadsheet with first name, last name and email address, using a "Create Spreadsheet Rows" zap so multiple leads can flow in over time.
- Google Sheets to Bouncer via Integromat — new rows in the sheet trigger an automatic email verification check, catching the guessed or outdated addresses that scraping tools often return.
- Bouncer to Lemlist — once an address is confirmed valid, the contact is uploaded straight into an email sequence, ready to go out at scale.
Setup steps cover creating and connecting accounts across each platform: installing the ContactOut Chrome extension, linking a Zapier account to a shared Google Sheet, mapping fields so data lands in the right columns, and turning on each "Zap" to test that a saved profile actually appears in the spreadsheet. Common snags get addressed directly, including what to do when a scraping tool can't find a lead, why the same contact might show up twice if a sheet gets connected more than once, and how to structure a second tab in the spreadsheet to track daily volume of leads added and emails sent.
The larger point is less about any single tool and more about treating a sourcing stack as a set of connected parts rather than isolated steps. Any tool with an open API — an ATS, Slack, Gmail, a scraping extension — can be linked the same way, cutting out repetitive manual copying and letting a sourcer move a candidate from "found" to "contacted" with a single click.
