About this video

Three sourcing technology companies present live product demonstrations, each followed by an unscripted challenge question meant to test their tools under real conditions rather than a scripted pitch.

One platform positions itself as a deep search engine for talent, built to solve what it calls a shift from talent shortage to talent abundance: too many resumes, not enough time to sort them. Given the challenge of finding licensed social workers in Chicago who are not on LinkedIn, it runs a live search, showing exactly which web pages and sources it pulled from, how many candidates were found, and how many were net-new versus already in its database. The tool emphasizes transparency, showing sourcing provenance down to the individual link, and highlights features like bias-neutral ranking and free interview interpretation for deaf candidates.

A second demonstration reimagines the resume and job posting entirely. Rather than matching keywords, it builds a living "dossier" for job seekers, pulling in passions, interests, and non-traditional experience such as caregiving, and a parallel profile for companies in place of static job ads. Candidates and recruiters both place a profile "in the arena" and get matched based on skills, verified location data, and adjustable priorities, with photos deliberately excluded to reduce bias. A stack-rank feature lets recruiters search for candidates similar to a specific existing employee rather than starting from a job description alone.

A third tool tackles the fragmented sourcing workflow, combining candidate discovery, contact information lookup, and multichannel outreach in a single system instead of stitching together separate platforms for search, data enrichment, and messaging. A live search example shows how the tool auto-populates location, skills, seniority, and alternative job titles from a pasted job description, screens out candidates who already work at or previously worked for the hiring company, and lets recruiters choose whether outreach goes out anonymously on behalf of an agency client.

Across all three demonstrations, common threads emerge: sourcing from beyond conventional databases, transparency about where candidate data comes from, reducing manual screening time, and building outreach directly into the discovery process rather than treating it as a separate step.
