Israel Gutierrez is vice president of talent acquisition at news and media company Axios, where he oversees the recruiting team and larger recruiting strategy efforts. Prior, he has been recruiting in the media and ad tech space for over a decade, including as director of TA at The New York Times, where he led tech, data, and marketing recruiting efforts and a team of 30+ recruiters. Israel also served on the board for Latino Tech, an NYC nonprofit that facilitates networking opportunities for underrepresented talent in big tech.
